Malaysia Day is celebrated to commemorate the establishment of Malaysian federation. To enliven the celebration, Hari Malaysia Keluarga Protasco was held on 14th of September 2022.
To bring Protasco Champions that is based nationwide, the event was held part virtually. On that day, staff were presented with creative and fun videos prepared by each Division. Not to forget, the spontaneous and efforts that been put in for our Best Dress contestants. Winners were identified and announced. The event closed with a brunch session at respective Divisions.
We would like to thank all Champions for the efforts and participation in making this event a huge success. Till we meet again at our next event!
UCAPAN DATO’ KENNY – HARI MALAYSIA KELUARGA PROTASCO
Dalam ucapannya kepada Juara-Juara Protasco Berhad semasa Sambutan Kemerdekaan dan Hari Malaysia Keluarga Protasco 2022, pada 14 Sept 2022, Tuan Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan Protasco, YBhg Dato Kenny Chong meneroka makna di sebalik tema Hari Kemerdekaan Malaysia 2022 “Keluarga Malaysia Teguh Bersama” dan bagaimana ia terpakai kepada Protasco Berhad.
Dato Kenny memetik ucapan Allahyarham Tunku Abdul Rahman, Bapa Kemerdekaan Malaysia pada tahun 1957 iaitu “menyeru anda semua untuk mendedikasikan diri kepada Tanah Melayu baharu: untuk bekerja dan berusaha dengan kudrat dan minda bagi mencipta negara baharu, diilhamkan oleh gagasan keadilan dan harapan dalam dunia yang terganggu ini ”.
Tuan Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan menegaskan bahawa walaupun kita bukan lagi Tanah Melayu, dengan Malaysia kini berusia 59 tahun (1963-2022), kata-kata Almarhum Tunku masih amat relevan. “Saya ingin menyatakan bahawa Protasco Berhad dan semua segmen perniagaannya iaitu Penyelenggaraan, Kejuruteraan & Perundingan, Pendidikan, Tenaga dan Perdagangan & Pembuatan telah menyumbang bukan sahaja dari segi penyampaian produk dan perkhidmatan yang utama, malah juga dalam kesejahteraan sosial dan ekonomi kakitangan serta keluarga mereka saban tahun.”
Hasil daripada kecemerlangan amalan dan proses yang dijalankan secara berdedikasi oleh pengurusan kanan dan kakitangan kami, produk dan perkhidmatan Protasco telah diiktiraf di peringkat nasional dan antarabangsa oleh pelbagai organisasi. Hasilnya, kita berjaya merangkul pelbagai anugerah dan pengiktirafan berprestij oleh perniagaan individu.
Kesemua pencapaian berterusan ini adalah mustahil sekiranya Protasco Berhad (PB) tidak TEGUH BERSAMA. Di PB kita telah bersama sebagai sebuah keluarga dan inilah kekuatan yang membawa kita ke tahap ini. Melalui sifat perniagaan kita, kita juga telah membantu untuk membina Malaysia ke peringkat terkini.
Tuan Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan juga berikrar untuk memastikan PB akan terus turut serta dengan kekuatan bersama sebagai sebuah keluarga untuk menyokong usaha mencapai negara maju melalui tadbir urus yang baik.
UCAPAN DATO’ KENNY – HARI MALAYSIA KELUARGA PROTASCO (ENG VERSION)
In his address to the Champions of Protasco Berhad during the Protasco Berhad’s Independence and Malaysia Day Celebration 2022, on 14th Sept 2022 the GMD explored the meaning behind 2022 Malaysia’s Independence Day theme “Keluarga Malaysia Teguh Bersama” and how it applies to Protasco Berhad.
Dato Kenny quoted from the late Tunku Abdul Rahman’s, Malaysia’s Father of Independence speech in 1957 that “call upon you all to dedicate yourselves to the service of the new Malaya: to work and strive with hand and brain to create a new nation, inspired by the ideas of justice ad liberty-a beacon of light in a disturbed and distracted world”. The GMD pointed out that while it is no longer a new Malaya, with Malaysia now being 59 years old, the late Tunku’s quote still applies all the same.
I am to say that Protasco Berhad and all its business segment namely Maintenance, Engineering & Consultancy, Education, Clean Energy and Trading & Manufacturing has contributed not only in terms of its staple deliverable products and services, but also in the social and economic well-being of its staff and families over the years.
As a result of excellent practices and processes carried out by our dedicated senior management and their staffs, our products and services has been recognized at national and international levels by various organizations resulting in prestigious awards and recognitions by the individual business.
All this continuous achievements will not have been possible if Protasco Berhad (PB) had not been TEGUH BERSAMA. In PB we have been together as a family and this has been the strength that brought us to this height so far. This has also brought us to build Malaysia to where it is now in our own way through the nature of our business.
The GMD also pledge to ensure that PB will continue to embark on its strength of being together and as a family to continuously support the effort to achieve a developed nation through good governance.
