On 15 July 2025, a few members of Protasco Berhad’s Board of Directors visited Tenggara Food Industries Sdn Bhd’s new fruit processing facility in Kulai, Johor.

As Tenggara Food Industries Sdn Bhd (“Tenggara Food”) embarks on a new phase of growth, the new facility provides a strategic space for developing new products and enhancing operational efficiency. Equipped with up-to-date infrastructure and increased storage capacity, and upon being certified for Food Safety System Certification 22000 V6, HACCP, Halal, MeSTI, and GMP, Tenggara Food will be able to expand its market reach, meeting high quality and safety standards, and scaling up production to support demand effectively.

This expansion reflects Tenggara Food’s ambition to scale its business and position itself competitively in the domestic and international markets, particularly with plans to capture opportunities in the China market. With the support of the Board and a clear vision for the future, this new business division is expected to thrive and contribute significantly to the Group’s overall growth.
