On 29 January 2019, Protasco Development and two other companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Maevi Sdn Bhd, a unit of TNB Energy Service Sdn Bhd. TNB Energy Service Sdn Bhd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). The MoU with Protasco Development is for the supply and installation of the Maevi smart homes service for housing development projects. There were two other strategic partners being Tan & Tan Developments Berhad and Diversified Gateway Berhad (DGB) who will provide smart partnership for the efficient management and asset supervision and also ventures to explore energy management market respectively.
The MoU was signed by Encik Izham Ismail representing Maevi Sdn Bhd CEO, Mr Edward Khoo, Executive Director for Protasco Development Sdn Bhd, Mr Tan Yee Seng, Director for Tan & Tan Developments Bhd and Mr Robin Lim, Executive Director for Diversified Gateway Bhd.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Entrepreneur Development Minister, Datuk Dr Mohd Hatta Ramli and TNB Energy Service Managing Director, Dr Ir Ahmad Jaafar Abd Hamid.
