On 15 June 2017, a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Construction Project of Federal Highway FT02 (Daerah Petaling) Overhead Bridge and Upgrading of its Draining System (Majlis Pecah Tanah Projek Pembinaan Overhead Bridge Dan Menaiktaraf Sistem Perparitan FT02 Lebuhraya Persekutuan, Daerah Petaling) was held at Jalan 222 (Klang bound), Federal Highway. The ceremony was officiated by YB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof, Minister of Works. Roadcare (M) Sdn Bhd is the contractor for the construction project.
